





The Institute of Archaeology in Iași, part of the Romanian Academy – Iași Branch, continues a research tradition established in the early decades of the twentieth century. Over time, it has become a leading centre for the study of the past and of archaeological heritage in the eastern Carpathian region. Today, the Institute carries out interdisciplinary research projects, combining fieldwork with specialised analyses and international collaborations. Through its scientific and editorial activity, it contributes to a deeper understanding and promotion of archaeological heritage.
